Description
In search of an education that is capable of considering music as world knowledge, as a fundamental tool for children to live, listen, experience and understand the world around them, I propose this workshop full of playful and musical activities, with which we can experience and discuss music as part of the awareness of the world around us, its care and its sustainability. auna, encouraging their interest and awareness of the importance of caring for animals and birds found in urban and forested areas. The songs were composed by Brazilian composers, and the animals chosen represent the six biomes that characterize Brazil: the Amazon, Caatinga, Cerrado, Atlantic Forest, Pampas, and Pantanal. Urubus, bats, guará wolves, tapirs, sloths, capybaras, otters, butterflies, and fireflies will be sung and danced about, so that participants can understand the importance of these animals in the world we live in. The musical experiences aim to provide opportunities for contact with musical content that reveals the beauty and joy of these new discoveries, overcoming the more rational and arid aspects so prevalent today. The preservation of animals in general and nature as a whole has been a central theme in the media and social discussions, and is crucial to discussions and actions taking place globally. Each of the animals featured in the songs, as elements of nature, is fundamental to environmental balance. They assist nature and humanity in the biological control of species, pollination of flowers, seed dispersal, recycling of organic waste left behind by humans, providing organic fertilizer, and disease control. They also enchant us with their way of life, their colors, their beauty. Careful research, based on biology and ecology, will provide insights into the lives of the animals featured in the workshop, along with the experiences of various musical styles, such as moda de viola, samba, reggae, blues, carimbó, and others. Furthermore, during the workshop, illustrations of the animals featured will be projected, specially created by a Brazilian artist with proven international artistic experience.
