Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra Children's Choir Founded in October 2017 as a nonprofit initiative of the Shenzhen Symphony Orchestra, the Children’s Choir provides a professional platform for singers aged 5–17. The choir has won top honors at international competitions, including Grand Prix at the 2025 WYCF World Youth Choir Festival, and performs regularly with leading orchestras and opera houses.

Program Note: Elements is an a cappella choral suite by Canadian composer Katerina Gimon, inspired by the four natural elements: Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. The work extensively employs modern choral techniques such as overtones, vocal percussion, and wordless phonemes, using pure vocal sounds to evoke natural imagery: Earth — steady and profound; Air — light and flowing; Fire — passionate and intense; Water — gentle and meandering.
Minimalist yet highly evocative, the piece is a classic example of contemporary vocal experimentation intertwined with nature-themed concepts.

Program Note: Treading on Grass is a three-part a cappella chorus by young composer Pan Xingzimin. It is an outstanding contemporary Chinese-style choral work rich in oriental charm.
