Julio Lemos is a virtuoso 7-string guitarist specializing in Brazilian instrumental music, blending classical guitar technique with influences from Villa-Lobos, Radamés Gnattali, and the choro and samba traditions, inspired by Dino 7 Cordas, Rafael Rabelo, Baden Powell, and Marco Pereira. A professor at the Federal University of Goiás since 2010, he holds a doctorate in music and has recorded with renowned artists like Hermeto Pascoal and Carlos Malta. His international career includes tours and workshops across Europe, the U.S., and China. Flavia Maria Cruvinel is a guitarist, music educator, researcher, producer, and cultural manager. She holds a PhD in Education, a Master's degree in Music, and a specialization in Brazilian Music in the 20th Century, with a focus on Music Education (EM-UFG). She is the author of the books "Music and Power: the Bragantine courtier habitus in the tropics" (2022) and "Music Education and Social Transformation: an experience with Collective String Teaching" (2005), as well as several articles and book chapters. She works as a curator, producer, and cultural manager. She is the manager of the Professional and Technological Education Network in Arts of the State of Goiás, encompassing the Arts courses offered by the Escola do Futuro, and the executive director of the Goiás Philharmonic Orchestra.
