The UTS Strings Ensemble is made up of students in grades 7-12 from the University of Toronto Schools (UTS) — an independent school affiliated with the University of Toronto and home to a vibrant 6-year instrumental music program. Directed by Sarah Shugarman, the ensemble is committed to featuring and commissioning the work of diverse, Canadian, and underrepresented composers.
